The heartbreaking, heart warming story of a bulldog named Spike.

Sharon Malec is the very gifted quilt artist who first inspired me to begin creating pet portraits on fabric. Her patterns are multiple and her talents are significant.

Tangled Threads Quilt shop is located just 5 miles south of the Canadian border, and about a 2 hour drive north of Seattle, in the scenic town of Lynden, Washington. The owners, Sharylann and Thelma, take pride in customer service, and always make you feel right at home.

We are a network of private homes helping western Washington's homeless senior dogs. We also assist in senior dog placement. (We do not have a traditional shelter -- our dogs are in homes throughout western Washington.)

LOU'S DOGGIE BOUTIQUE

The mission of Cascade Bulldog Rescue/Rehome, Inc (CBRR) is to provide education, prevention, intervention, and adoption services to ensure that all English Bulldogs and French Bulldogs enjoy long, healthy lives in loving, safe, appropriate homes where they are provided the life-long care they require. We commit to each English Bulldog and French Bulldog and adopter(s) we serve for the life of the dog.

The Alternative Humane Society (AHS) practices a no kill philosophy. Our goal is to help Whatcom County become a community where no healthy animals are euthanized. AHS is an all volunteer, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and cats and helping pets stay in loving homes.

For over 100 years, Whatcom Humane Society has been sheltering abandoned animals, fighting cruelty and neglect, and working to build a caring, compassionate community. As an open-admission shelter, the dedicated staff and volunteers at the Whatcom Humane Society cared for over 4,800 homeless, unwanted and abused animals in 2009.
