"Maria created the Rylee Joy quilt for my birthday, and I have to say, it has got to be one of the most special gifts I have ever received!  When I opened it, I didn't have words to say... it's too beautiful for words, and tears often speak louder than words anyway.  Maria, while in our home, took special note of our colors, and the match couldn't have been more perfect.  In addition, the resemblance of the "real" Rylee Joy is astounding.  We have the piece hanging on the wall where it brings us great Joy each day.  Maria creates her quilts out of love.  That, combined with her brilliant creativity and skill always results in a masterpiece!"

The model for this quilt is a standard poodle, Miss Rylee Joy, who lives in Blaine, Washington. She's a sweet, intelligent soul and it was my privilege to create this portrait of her. Pattern by Sharon Malec.
